In this session we dig deep into Amplify. There will be a brief refresher on how to test using Amplify and then how to use that data to create small groups and get your hands on a lot of really good resources to meet individual students needs. We will then switch over to Orton Gillingham and review how to use assessments to group students and where to begin and how to incorporate the three part drill into everyday activities and some resources to help small groups thrive.
We will share how we use components from our EL Education Modules to extend learning in our independent learning block. Utilizing multiple modalities we will give examples for differentiated centers that incorporate vocabulary, critical thinking, and real world application. Sentence Framing is an easy and effective instructional strategy that will give your students confidence in their writing and the ability to access grade level writing content.
