For youth, having at least one stable, supportive and committed adult consistently in their lives makes the biggest difference (Harvard University) Students are urged to pull in a trusted adult when challenges an concerns arise. Teachers, coaches, parents/caregivers, grandparents, family friends and other caring individuals actively involved in a young person's life can be identified as their trusted adults. So what does it mean to be a trusted adult and what resources can you draw on to support a young person's mental health and connect them to help?
Relieve your stress and make some music with drumming therapy! Learn the basics of playing the tubano (a type of drum) and have fun collaborating and making music with your colleagues. No musical or creative experience or skill is required!
